Mike Shetler / House of Worship Project Director
Background:
After moving to Atlanta in 1986 as a freelance audio engineer and musician (bass), Mike has spent 30 years as an audio professional in various capacities. His background includes studio audio engineering, studio build-out, audio production management and operations, acoustic modeling and measurement, AV system design and integration, AV system tuning and optimization, and AV consulting.
He specializes in commercial audio, video, theatrical lighting, and distributed systems. Mike continues to play bass professionally as a member of the Home By Dark concert series band (www.homebydark.com), on the worship team at Dunwoody Community Church, and in various freelance positions.
His experience as a studio engineer and as a musician in numerous house of worship scenarios, gives him a unique insight into the specialized A/V needs of houses of worship.

• 2007 - Present: VisionQuest A/V system design, implementation and consulting specializing in Houses of Worship.
• 2001-2006: Mood Media (formerly dmx/DMX MUSIC), a global provider of audio/video content and systems installations. Director of Operations for messaging production division.
• 1991-2000 GM Voices, an international provider of speech technology solutions, voice prompts, voice recordings, voice branding, translation, voice narration, etc.
Audio engineer (1991-1993), Production Manager (1993-1997), International Projects Manager (1997-2000).
• 1986-1991: Freelance audio engineer and musician.
